THEORY AND HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST
Taking the theory and hazard perception test
The theory test is done by touch screen test and the hazard perception is done by touching the computer mouse button. To pass the test you must pass both sections in one go. If you fail either section you fail the whole test.
Stage1 -Theory Test
Question on the theory test are multiple choice questions.
For the car test there will be 50 question be answered in 57 minutes and a pass mark 43 out of 50.
Stage 2- Hazard Perception
Hazard perception also done on a computer by touching a button on the mouse. You have 14 video clips of road scenes. Each clip has one hazard and one of the clip has two hazards on it.
To get a high score need to react early to the hazard. Maximum score for each hazard is five.
The pass mark for car hazard perception test is 44 out of 75.
